X5 Lathe - GibbsCam "no drag" pass?

This question is directed to anyone who has used both mastercam X4/5 and GibbsCam (in my case 2009).

In GibbsCam when creating a "contour" toolpath, I can check a box titled "no drag". This causes the tool to avoid running into shoulders and feeding in the X+ direction.

I am wondering if there is any way to achieve this in X5. So far the only way I was able to do this was by using many partial chains for the one cut and just changing the directions.

Forgive me if this post is hard to understand, I will post some sample programs soon to help get my question across.

Anyone who has used both programs will know what I mean!

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mastercam doesn't have this funtion. You need to break the geometry and make two operations.
