    Gerber 408 motor stops running no error message

    Hello All,
    I have a Gerber 408. When we run a job it starts fine but after about a minute the spindle stops running but the X & Y keeps going. Anyone have this issue before?

    Not happened to me.

    Sometimes when the spindle stalls it will stop but then I will get an X or Y axis failure and need to reboot.

    What size spindle?

    What material? Speed? Feed?

    Is this consistent?

    Any error codes on the VFD?

    Hello Comeco,
    we also run a Sabre 408 and have just experienced a similar problem as described in your post of 12-05-2011 : right in the middle of a job the spindle stops running but x any keep going.
    We wonder if you have solved this problem and would be grateful if you could let us know.
