Hi All,
I am trying to get an Anilam 1400M controller working on an Ajax Premier 1300 CNC milling machine, although 15 years old it has very little work done, it has not been used for 5 years. The problem is that when the machine is powered up the the 'control s/w' frame appears, with 'halted' displayed on the frame and 'servo disabled' lit on the button panel. Pressing 'servo reset' does not work in fact nothing works. The 'figures / numbers' for the encoders all zeros, moving the X,Y or Z tables manually, the ' figures / numbers' do not change, I checked the outputs from the encoders as far as the DSP card, they are ok. I have sent a 'dump' of the s/w to Anilam, who say it looks ok. It appears as if the DSP card may be faulty.
Any help would very much appreciated.
