    Hitachi seiki problems

I have a Hitachi Seiki HC 400 with a Fanuc 15-m control. The machine was left off for an extended period of time. Upon start up it had an A axis servo alarm and overtravel of every axis in positive and negative. The machine doesn't even have an A axis. I turned off the axis in parametes and that alarm cleared but others will not clear. I found that the batteries had died and started to leak. I replaced the batteries and was able to locate a copy of all my parameters. I reloaded parameters and same overtravel alarms will not clear. I have had Fanuc service in on this and was told they could not help without wiring diagrams which we do not have. I am not getting anywhere with Mori support and I am really banging my head on this one. Please help!
    Thanks

Are you getting + and - overtravel alarms at the same time? If so it is either a power supply or the ladder is not running.
    Can you display the ladder?

Issue with PLC Ladder upload HC-400 with FANUC 15M

I have a Hitachi Seiki HC-400 with FANUC 15M control the machine has two control screens one in the front and one in the back for the PLC. The machine completely turns on but the PLC batteries were replaced as they were dead and now the PLC has lost all the ladder Diagrams. I have a hard copy of the ladder but it is very hard to load it manually. Can someone send me a soft copy of the ladder and also guide me what software do I need to compile and upload the ladder to the PLC?
    Please help!

the ladder on 15-series is in ROM so you don't need the ladder. You may need PMC parameters though. they can be loaded manually if you have a hard copy.

    A diff control

fordav11 thank you so much for the prompt reply.
But just wanted to bring to your attention that this 15M is
    configured a little different.
The PLC is a Hitachi Seiki PLC
and the control is a FANUC 15M
and they both have their own individual ladder.
Thus the screen in the back(Hitachi PLC) and the front(FANUC 15M)
And yes we have already entered the PC parameters but the handshake between the PLC and the control will not be complete till the ladder is uploaded in the PLC.

Fordav11, the hitachi machines Had there own way of doing things, so they would use multiple separate Plc controls for items like atc, magazine, even pallet change on some. With those Plc, they would use a lot of non standard custom built stuff. Difficult machines to deal with sometimes. I only know one good hitachi guy in my area, and it sure ain't me!

ah I see. Totally non standard.
Well you'll have more luck pushing sh*t uphill with a tooth pick than trying to get that one going unless you find someone with an identical machine.
I suggest sell it on ebay as 'untested' and buy something more common
Or contact Mori Seiki who now handle service for Hitachi Seiki machines (if you are lucky)
