    Multicam 3000 help anyone?

I have a multicam 3000 & I am getting a "motor error 23 xa, y, z" when booting the machine up. The last thing it tries to do before it crashes is " enabling motor drives". Will not allow you to initiate home settings. It is kicking out the contactor to the AC drive when trying to set the Z axis. Any Ideas?

    Regards,

    michael

Thanks for responding... tried it... no luck though.

Changed it out & it kicked the switch off. Still no power to servo #1. unhook one side of the capacitor & it don't shut down.... Ever heard of a capacitor go bad on one of these things?

    Thanks for responding.

    Multicam 3000 help anyone

Just curious do you verify that the bridge rectifier was installed in the right orientation, if install reversed the same error will happen.

    multicam 3000 help?

I have a multicam 3000 & I am getting a "web fault error" when booting the machine up. It is kicking out the contactor & the circuit breaker to the AC drive as soon as it tries to " enable motor drives". Will not allow you to initiate home settings. If you try to set it by the Hand controller pad it gives error "24 volts over current" We changed out the bridge rectifier, Contactor, capacitor & the mother board. Any help would be great.

    Regards,

    Multicam 300 help anyone?

Blink count 5 is normally a mechanical issue,
    1. Z-screw is dirty
    2. Z servo is dirty, sometimes your material that you are cutting get down into the upper bearing of the servo.
    3. Bearing cars are shot and need replacement.
    4. Ball screw itself has blown bearings and needs replacement.
    5. The pulley on the top of the z-screw has shifted and is rubbing against the top to the support plate. EASIEST TO CHECK
WORSE CASE:SERVO AMP IS SHOT, and needs replacement.
