    Speed & feed THEN

Hi all, I've been cutting aluminum sheet 2.5mm thick on air cooling ok, with the same pump mentioned in Romans posts,so here's my speed / feed that works ok, but very slow indeed . Specs
    3mm 2 flute carbide bit.
    23000rpm. (very loud)
    120mm per min
    Air cooling .
This seems too cut ok but like stated it's very slow compared to other cuts I see on air on YouTube etc, could anyone recommend some other numbers I could try,
Thanks all a quicker cut means a happier wife

    Cheers.

On a rigid mill you could go 10 times that. So you've quite a lot of scope to increase.
