    Unhappy

I made 3 files...only 1 of which fits into the 2meg file size limit here...

1 shows the materials/cuts list and overview.

    2nd shows steps 1-21.

3rd is axis mounts, plenum and shelf drawings.

The basic electrical parts and software list from the other thread is in the 3rd file as well.

    Now Easy To Print

You have made a very big contribution to this thread & it's current as well as future readers.
The free plasma table plans, developed by Mlaws1172, will now be very easy to print, if you do not have a CAD program.

For those still not sure, & just to clarify, the plans are the 4 (zip) files in posts 43 & 44 which can be opened & printed by PDF readers such as Adobe Reader etc. Just click on the files in the posts noted & you can choose to open them & print without even downloading.

Thanks, you sure made it simple!

    Glad to help.

If there are any pages that anyone thinks needs more detail let me know and I will try and make it better. I'm just glad to help as I know how frustrating CAD programs can be especially if you don't have one.

Sorry I should of ask you to email me @ [email protected] if you don't mind. It helps me keep track.
The 12V is used to run relays and fans. On the power supply i build the 12V side is adjustable. You can make it from 3V to 13V. The 12V and 5V are on the same board.

I just got some time to get my tablegoing after changing to Geckos and mach3. Here is my first cut with this setup. Things are a little rough but once I get things set in sheetcam ,life will be good.
Just wanted to show that the table will cut.

This has been VERY informative!!! I have spent allt of time reading posts on DIY CNCs.

Weldtutor, how did you CNC turn out? I cannot seem to find any posts after you mounted the servos. If I missed them could you direct me to the right place?

Mlaws, your plans and knowledge are very helpful to those of us that have the drive to build but were unsure were to start.

I am just starting to learn about the electronics so that is what I am focusing on at this time. I have 4 electric wheelchairs (I work for a healthcare service) Can I scavenge parts from them for a CNC??

Thanks again for a GREAT site!!!!

Some modifications are being made to the controls by the supplier.
If all works out, I'll make more posts in my build thread thread.
I wish you well with your project.

Hi guys Tigman here. Been lurking for a couple of days now and I will definetly be building one of these machines. I own a small fab shop and usaully farm out the plasma cutting. It can get expensive. Mlaws and you other guys thank you for the info you've posted. It'll take me some time but it'll happen. Juggling kids and running the shop it'll have to get fabricated in my spare time. LOL..I have a hand held cutmaster50 that I love. Time for the cnc. If I can be of assistance to anyone please speak up. please check out my website. www.tanksbytigman.com. thanks.........Dave
