Preparing a mazak VQC for transport

I have recently bought a used VQC20/40B. It came with a pile of manuals but I cannot find the instructions for locking the ways for transport. One of the manuals shows where to lift the machine with cables, but does not mention if the ways need to be locked, or if there is a counterbalance to be locked. Can anyone tell me how prepare this machine for transport?

It`s a hydraulic counterbalance on this machine.I would wind the head down on to a block of wood on the table.

Yes.There`s a brake on the ball screw which you can loosen. It`s right on top of the head.
Watch it doesn`t run away under it`s own weight when you loosen it.
