    Axyz router cutting UHMW

    I work for a company that is new to manufacturing our own UHMW components. The material is 0.50" UHMW and the problem that I am having is that as the router makes the final path to seperate the part from the parent material the part is pushed and the tool then "nicks" the part. The vacuum is at 20" H2O, RPM is at about 18000, and feed is about 100ipm. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

    I thought it was water, but you are probably correct that is is Hg. Sorry.

    There are several sizes of the part(s), but the one I want to get first is 2" x 16" rectangle. Simple part if we could keep it from moving. Thanks.
