At home i have an 2HP Motor with VFD controller, max spindle are 2800RPM, i think that is a little big for the small machine :P

Maybe will be better to make an big machine, i have some ballscrews and linear motios to make 45cm machine.

Look for a DC motor of an appropriate size, servo etc, and pick up a KB/Balder SCR controller.

    Thanks.

What about X axis? think that 4.8kg/cm will be OK for x axis of 10cm travel?
