    any1 seen a 12x36 lathe conversion?

    Hi all,

    I have a PM 12x36 lathe I am looking to convert to cnc and have be scouring the net looking for some examples to get ideas from but havent found much of anything. Has any one seen a similar lathe conversion? Got links?

    I have no doubt i can do it without examples, but it helps with ideas. I have scratch built a cnc plasma and a cnc mill so i am no stranger to cnc. I was going to scratch build a lathe but thought it might be quicker and easier to cnc the lathe i already have. Im still sorta up in the air on this, but either way, im in need and must build or convert asap.

    Did you check out zarzul's 13X40 conversion. Similar machines and you might get some ideas.
