    Rogers Machine Encoder Interface Board.

    Hi Guys

Anybody using one of these Encoder Interface Boards from Rogers Machine? http://www.rogersmachine.net/index.html It looks interesting but I understand that you still need to run a second Breakout Board along with it. I like the idea of it stopping all axis movement if any one axis fails to move the correct amount. The error amount can be set to any amount in Mach. Would be interested to hear from anyone who is using one of these boards and what they think of it? Thanks for the help.

    Regards
    Willyb

    See also combo breakout

Take a look also at the Campbell Designs combo breakout board. It combines a number of functions including breakout, charge pump safety interlock, spindle speed control, and one encoder input for a MPG.

Same designer as the one offered by Rogers.

    Best,

    BW

No, but it needs a second parallel port.
