Smile What it tests the precision cnc milling?

    Hello
I bought a three-axis milling second hand. (For metal - Moulding)
What tests will determine the accuracy?
Public test to determine whether this machine is good or not?
    How are the mechanical tests?
    Thank you

    Try milling out a circle.
Example: Try milling a 50mm circle, check if the circle really is round by measuring across it in both directions x,y. Is it 50,00mm or is it perhaps 50,1? 49,9?

Mill a straight slot.. Say a 50mm slot and then measure to check the results..

Another good way is to jog a stepper, from the computer, the entire length of the axis. If its a 48" axis, tell the software to move 48".
Measure the actual distance traveled and compare it to how much the computer told it to move.

Except the aboving 2 methods, draw a large rectangle or make dots on the four corner of the material ,test the diagonal . When you test the circle as danande said , check the circle is smoothly or not ,that means no waves and jags .
