$1K. When should I pick it up?
What are you willing to take for it? Got any pictures? Where are you located? What condition is it in?
Mike
Its in good condition. The battery was allowed to get low so the parameters must be reloaded. I don't have the tape but do have the manual with the required settings. I'm located in Gaylord which is in northern mi. I do have pictures I could send by email. I don't have a website to host the pictures

I was thinking about 6000.00 obo for the lathe
That's not going to happen.
...unless there's 3-4K of room in the best offer scenario.
I would take 3000.00 buts thats as low as I would go
Looks like only authorized people are allowed to see those pictures, so it looks like email is the best way for interested parties to contact the seller. You will probably maximise your price by parting out the lathe but that will take some extra time. FWIW, a friend just bought a Compact 5 or 6 and paid a few hundred for it and has another $1k in control upgrades.
FWIW,
I bought a running Hardinge superslant for $1500. with tooling, collets etc. and that was not at an aucion.
It might have been a Compact 6 he bought then as it seemed a lot more capable than another Emco lathe I'd seen a few years ago at the old CNC Workshop (Ron Ginger's?).
