Chip conveyor will not run. Get an alert that says door open.
Can go to parameters and lock door out conveyor will work but then I get an A axis fault. Any suggestions on how to get my chip conveyor going?

Um... Close the door? Turn on door close overide in settings? Be careful with that one, as the machine will then run with the door open. Meaning, you can leave the door open and the machine runs when cycle start is pushed.

I am not sure why you get an A axis fault with that parameter changed. A good reason to not mess with PARAMETERS. Only mess with SETTINGS when needed.

For future note, you are posting this in the "mill" forum. Please post lathe questions in the "lathe" forum.

We do have the door overide in effect and are currently running the machine that way. Still the coneyor won"t function. The alert says conveyor door open. Can't find anything about a conveyor door.

Does the conveyor function when the door is closed? Or is that when you are getting the "door open" warning/alarm?

Is this a new machine to the shop? If not, did it work when you got it and the problem just crop up on you?

If you are getting an a-axis over load. The machine is getting an incorrect
Turret clamp position. This can be solved by adjusting the turret a-axis motor coupling and the turret to wedge squatness as well. I recommend contacting you local dealer for assistance.
