    C axis 414 servo alarm Fanuc 18-T

    Any suggestions on how to fix this C-Axis 414 servo alarm?

    First you can disconnect the power wires of the motor from the drive and start again the machine
    If the alarm is still present,problem is in the drive
    If the alarm is not present,the problem is in the motor ,check insulation and resistance

    Thanks for the response zavateandu. Would you believe it though, I powered the machine off and on again without doing anything else and the servo alarm has disappeared

    If it reappears next time, you can check the DGN 200-205 for more information.
    However, if the alarm disappears after the restart, it looks like it is coming from the Drive Unit or if the motor has a break, it may be the break.
