NV5000 optional stop does not work

When I press optional stop (OSP) button machine does not stop after tool change, it continues to next tool and so on. Do I need M1 or OSP should stops without M1? Is there any parameter or setting to enable OSP?

Optional stop is M01. All machines are like this. No way to stop after a tool change without it.

no no, on the newer Mori's you can telepathically tell it to stop and it just does it if the switch on the panel is pushed in. hehe

Mori Seiki uses sub program for tool change if it is newer machine like the one i am working on.
It is O9001 and all you need is to edit that program. It is missing M01. If you still haven't found the solution let me know i think i can help you with that.

    Example:
    O9001(ATC)
    M5
    M9
    G0 G91 G30 Z0
    G0 G91 G30 X0 Y0
    M19
    M6
    G90
    M01
    M99

Yes that macro is added by company that sold our machine i do not know how are tool and palette changes done elsewhere but i have it like that. And also when our last machine was delivered M01 was missing from that macro.
My company have arround 60 Mori Seiki machines (NH,NT,NL,NV) and on all of them have macros like this one.

I guess that depends on reseller (I am from Croatia and machines are from company in Italy)

It's normal to add the macro. I put them in on delivery here. I could tell that must be a nh macro. G30 isn't used on the verticals for tool change.

And don't bother with the m19. I forgot, those machines will wait for the m19 finish signal before movement.
