    glentek amplifiers

After discovering a blown fuse for the z axis amplifier card and loosing the gibbs, cleanig the rust off the ways and getting the z to move by hand i got the z to jog under power. The x and y wouldnt jog so i swapped the z and y cards, then the y would jog.so it appears that out of four amplifers i have only one that works.

I read on another post that the 8 transistors could be at fualt,is there any way to test them?I used to test the transistors on a bridgeport aplifier with a diode tester but it isnt telling me anything with the fadal transistors. Any ideas where to get them or how much they cost?

Any information about glentek dc amplifiers would be appriciated.

you will waste a lot of time trying to repair these boards. i am a service tech. and buy my fadal parts from kmac parts in mi. 1 248-852-8572.
they are cheaper than fadal dealers and offer i year warranty.
