Without wishing to Hi-jack, could I also recommend the Dijet Super End Chipper? I use a 16mm SECM quite a lot now, cutting steel rather than Aluminium, and it's actually a very good match for the Tormach.
Cut this lump of EN8 (1045 steel) the other day, not pushing things at all really, using 2400rpm and 450mm/18 IPM feed at 1.5mm/0.060" DOC at full width (16mm) and it hardly moved the load meter at all.
Just cut really, really nicely - smooth and very little noise. Only disadvantage was that I had to make a new TTS adaptor for it to suit the 16mm shank. Stickout from this is 2".
