yaskawa drive connections to BOB. help

    hi guys

i am now trying to connect my yaskawa sgda***p drives to the BOB to get some motion via mach 3.

the bob has the following for each axis
    24v
    dir
    pul
    gnd

so my question is what goes were?

i have looked at other guys using ac servos and drives and they have done the following.

    24v - 24v in on servo
gnd to pulse and dir on servo
    pul to *pul on servo
    dir to *dir on servo.

the servo drive doen't seem to have a +pulse or - pulse so i assume the *pulse is +pulse and *dir is +dir on servo?

am i right thinkin that they is all the inputs i need to get this drive going?

i have my BOB connected to the pc and when running mach3 nothing happens on the board. no lights nothing so this makes me wonder if the signal is actually getting to the BOB.

    cheers guys

There shows two inputs for each, the Pulse is the signal and the *Pulse is the common for it etc.

Ok so sounds like I have it connected the wrong way then. The *pulse and *dir I will connect to gnd on the bob and see how I go

i swapped the connections around and still there was no joy. there was no proof that the signal was actually getting to the BOB

i ended up downloading a new version on mach3 demo to my laptop plugged in the printer port and success. i only used the 4 dir and sign inputs on the drive to get movement.
    thanks guys

i have it running in cw/ccw mode on the drive software. if i change it to sign + pusle train it will only run in 1 direction.

what option should it be running in.?
also can have a postive or negitive logic setting.

    any ideas
