Would a low cost wireless probe be marketable?

If someone were to come up with a low cost wireless system to add to some of the lower cost touch probes on the market (i.e. probes that are $200 to $400) would this be of interest to many people?
I am thinking in the neighborhood of $200 to $400 for the wireless kit.....
    Thanks for any feedback

I think you could do quite well. I've often pondered it myself. Just make sure if you use Bluetooth, only one receiver picks up only one probe. Just FYI, even the fanucs really just use one on/off in to the skip or high speed skip signal.

Something in that price range wouldn't be out of place for employee's to buy and add to their personal toolbox if installation wasn't intrusive. Id be interested myself.
