Hey everyone! Hope you're doing fine!

I'm having a big problem with the serial communication..

I have 2 machines, a Romi Multiplic 30D lathe with Fanuc 21i-t, and a Romi Discovery 1250 machining center with Sinumerik 810D, and, i'm using Nclink to transmit the data...

the problem is: i can send the programs from cnc to pc, but, can't send from pc to cnc...

the cable config:

CNC db-25 PC db-9
2---------------------2
3---------------------3
7---------------------5
4---------------------8
5---------------------7
6-20-8 jump

Serial port config:
Badrate: 2400 (9600 for the sinumerik)
Data bits: 7
Stop bits: 1
Parity: none
Flow: xon/off
Start at pc

Someone can help me with this? What am i doing wrong?

Try checking machine parameters first. Then set nclink to those parameters.

Do you have the same communication problems on both machines? If so, maybe it's a bad cable. How long is the cable? Just a thought. Good luck.
