Hey Guys,
I`m having problems getting the control to pull barstock with this control.
The puller comes up to the part and stops when I put the M11 code in. Do I have to program in incremental to get the machine to move?

I forget the code but try giving a feed per minute command before the M11. With the spindle stationary the normal feed per rev doesn't go anywhere...no revs .
Use absolute dims. Less confusing.

hello everyone, I am new in this forum and I have almost the same problem and some how I was able to fix it, now the problem that I have is that when I command M11 the chuck opens but not enough to release the material stock. What I did was that I put a sequence of m11 and M10 to open and close the chuck but I do not feel comfortable, what I do not know is if there is a timer that controls the timing for opening or closing the chuck and can be modified on the parameters, any help will be appreciated.
G04 dwell
You don't say what make and model machine you have, so it's hard to know what the situation is. Some machines have proximity switches on the cylinder to confirm chuck clamp/unclamp, some use PMC timers.
You could add a dwell after the chuck open:
M11 (OPEN CHUCK)
G04 X2. (DWELL 2 SECONDS)
G01 G98 Z0.5 F50.
M10 (CLOSE CHUCK)
G04 X2. (DWELL 2 SECONDS)
hello again the machine that I have is a femco durga 25e 1994 and I did not see any switch to control clamp and unclamp, also I already put g4(dwell) to give some time but it still does not work, the only difference that I noticed was that I put G4 P3000 instead of G4 X2. I will try to do it using G4 X2. thanks for your help.
