    How timely. Since you asked: splines. This seems to be the only way to output non-circle type curves from Alibre Express.

    Lots of people are asking for splines so I had better have another go and see if I can get them working. Auto tabbing is on the to-do list but at the moment I am afraid it is fairly low down the list.

    The ability to put alpha characters in the tool table. Or # and - symbols.

    I am building my tool table and would rather call tools like so;

    #51 for a #51 drill...

    Is their a way to add a line on a layer in autocad that will represent a tab that sheetcam will recognize?

    Mike, you can do this. Edit the tool and turn off 'Automatically generate name'. Now type in whatever you want for the tool name.

    Sorry, you can't at the moment. That will be part of the auto tabbing code.

    There seem to be only a few apps that save, export or convert to HPGL format. How about accepting more art formats such as Corel CDR, BMP, etc?

    That was one of the reasons for introducing EMF. EMF is a standard Windows clipboard format so most packages support it. I will hopefully also add svg. SVG is a fairly new format but it seems to be gaining in popularity.

    Thanks Les. Yep, that's what I ended up doing. Also found out that Mach3 doesn't like a tool number like;

    100625

    Bummer, I guess I will just number them 1, 2, 3, 4, etc... How boaring.

    Watch out for tool 0. I think Mach3 uses that for other purposes.

    I just found it and it works! I had been adding them manually.Only been using it about 2 weeks.

    Thanks Bubba! How far are you from lee's crossing? I lived in Lagrange for many years, moved to Columbus about 22 years ago.
