Hi,
We have a Mazak megaturn A12 with T32-2 control.
Can any one tell me what these Parameters mean?
S12 GRDSPC
S23 VIL
S33 STY
S41 MTY
S43 SSF
We have been having all kinds of problems with this machine, yes it is used and very old.
Now we are having problems with it losing x home position.
I was sent these parameters to change, to check the scale. But I would like to know what they are.

S12-GRDSPC- The grid interval of your axis. Usually you can find this listed in your electrical manual that shows your motor and encoder wiring. It usually says the grid spacing.
S23-VIL- Speed loop delay compensation.
S33-STY- Additional function selection. These selections are related to the servo loop. Hex set.
S41-MTY-Model name of the motor and detector. Hex set.
S43-SSF-Special Servo Function-Hex set.
Details of each are in the MRS Servo Maintenance Manual downloadable from Mitsubishi's web site.
