    Doosan 220 lynx issue...

    Hi guys and gals.....

im new here so please be gentle with me....

i have a problem with said machine, al funtions fine but when i rapid to from last cut into doing other cuts it sometimes touches the job before it gets to position....this sounds strange but it kinda ignoring its rapid to position in favour of trying to cut material....i overcome it using dwells but having spoken to an engineer he assured me its a parameter issue and its some sort of time saver.....

well i dunno any other way to explain. hope thats enough to go on.

    thanks in advance

It is a parameter issue. What model control is it? 0iTB, C or D or something else?

IIRC, on the 0i's it's parameter 1601 bit 4 RTO.

    There is no 0iT-E.

My guess is that 1601 bit 4 is set to 1 now. If you change that to 0, the problem you are experiencing should go away. This parameter is the same for 0iT-A to 0iT-D.

Yes it's corner rounding caused by the servo not finishing it's last move before the control starts reading and performing the next line. I'll dig out the parameters you need to change tomorrow if you still need them. Tends to effect the smaller light weight Lynx more than the Puma's. Let me know if you still need them (not sure how old the post is)
