Hi my name is Rick. I am new to this forum, however I have been researching for quite a while. I have purchased a mighty comet mill which had control issues, and like many here I have decided to retro with mach3. I am very pleased with what I have done so far, however I have reached a point where I need to ask for help.
My intention is to reuse the servo motors and encoders from the mighty comet. It has mitsubishi ha80 servos with tamagawa ts5146 encoders. I need to know what the pinout is on the encoder, it has the standard round connector. I will be using kollmorgan drives, and I am using the centipede motion controller and breakout board.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated, I am very impressed with the vast knowledge I have gained from reading the forum thus far.
