twisted pairs or paired and twisted

have just recieved my cable for my yaskawa servos. it is 6 paired and shielded cable. i told the supplier i wanted twisted pairs but i go paired and twisted. so there is pairs eg 2 white but 1 with a trace and so on. these wires are then twisted all together and shielded,

the manual says for the step and direction it should be twisted pairs and shielded so do you think i need to do this or would the paired and twisted wire be ok.? was also going to use the same wire for the encoder.

    any thoughts?

we use one outer shield and many twisted pairs inside for ENCODERS today: we use INDIVIDUALLY SHIELDED TWISTED PAIRS INSIDE AN OVERALL SHIELDED CABLE for resolvers still. so i wud say u r a-ok
