Since building my 3 axis machine I cannot configure the Mach 3 software. I followed the setting provided by the supplier and I have tried every pin/dir/enable/disable setting know to man and the best I can get is a grunt out of the Z motor when I activate the X motor.
I tried shielded cables, and reinstalled the software.
The frustrating part is that I don't know if it is software or hardware. I hooked up an old printer and it grabbed the paper and made the right noises although the ink had dried up a decade ago, but it looked like it wanted to print.
Can anybody tell me how to test for software or hardware please?
A screenshot of the diagnostic window would be good too because I don't know which lights should be on or off.
I have a Toshiba TB6560AHQ chipset with Nema 23 57BYGH56-401A Stepper Motors, and a 24v power supply. I don't have any estops or limit switches attached.
Thanks
