    Cool

Never tried Vericut 6, but if it works in XP or Vista you will probably get it working this way.

    Start,computer, right click properties
    Advanced system settings
    Performance, Settings button
    Data execution Prevention tab

Add the .exe file(s) to the list.
You probably need to do it for the installation programs too.

I haven't found a program that I can't get to run on Win7 that worked on XP.
ALL of my old stuff works. I have over 100 entries in the DEP table.

Use some care. Put a virus in this list and expect problems.

Set compatibility mode for .exe files to XP SP2 or 3 then go from there.

Some smart software even puts itself in this table.

The general symptom Win7 says in incompatible program or just does nothing (that you ever see).
Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.
