    Text engraving on cylinder side

Trying to engrave text on side of a 1.5 inch cylinder. Did a V no problem use Z, C, and M15 M16. Now need to do a P and I don't know how to do the radius. Should I be using the same method or is there an easy way to do this? The letters are only .25 high and .125 wide. I'm on an Okuma b300. OSP-P200L

it would be easier to use the Y axis as well. i.e. like a mill but YZ and X for depth.
a few posts below this someone has already provided a similar solution using User Task
