I use curly corner and G-Wizard for high speed with FC, works very well. I don't see anything volumill does that FC doesn't already do with curly corner. Save the cash for tooling, and get a 3 year seat of G-Wizard for $129.

    Hi rory71,

Delcam will soon be releasing its own new high speed roughing technology called Vortex. This has its own patent pending. Not only will it offer similar benefits to strategies such as those offered by Volumill, we will be taking it even further by introducing another technology called MachineDNA. This will extract your machine tool's 'DNA' and then completely optimise Vortex toolpaths for your own machines, giving you the shortest cycle times and best surface finish. No other CAM system in the world offers this capability.

For more info check out Vortex & MachineDNA from Delcam - YouTube and to see Vortex in action see Delcam Vortex High Speed Roughing - CAM Technology - YouTube

More information about both Vortex and MachineDNA will continue to be announced in the coming weeks and months.
