    Mach 3 with a PMDX 126 Board , 107 spindle board

I Have a Hungyan Inverter and a water cooled spindle.
Running Mach 3 with a PMDX 126 Board , 107 spindle board and a 134 mother board for 3 Gecko 203v drivers. Have all axis working.
I am Able to Start and stop the spindle but not able to change the rpm.
Had it working with a Gecko G540 but wanted to upgrade the system.
Any one else useing this setup ,and what settings in MAch3 am i missing?
    Thanks for any help

I have the previous PMDX - the 125 - so I suspect I'm fairly similar. Mines a Mitsubishi inverter.

In the ports and pins configuration in Mach3, SpindleSetup tab: I have "Use Spindle Motor Output" and "PWM control" ticked, but not "Step/Dir Motor". PWM base frequency is set at 30 and minimum PWM at 1%.

I found I didn't get anywhere until I realised that the PWM frequency required by the PMDX has a minimum value. This might help.

    Thanks for the Info

Thanks for the Tip,but it didnt make a change.
Got the relars to work but when the spindle comes on , K2 relay shuts off.
turn spindle off and it comes back on. not quite shure what is causeing it though(Will keep pluging away at it though)

I'm not using the relays on the main board to control the spindle at all, so if they're on or off doesn't matter to me. My inverter is powered up all the time, and the start stop signal is coming from pin 5 on the PMDX 107 board.

    Hello Jandalaser,
Do you have wiring diagram if you can post it here for reference? I have previous version 126 and 107.

    Thansk To All who Replied

Well I changed the 2 wires from the K1 relay to the 107 board, removed the 10 volt power supply from the VFD and capped it ,moved the Acm from VFD to the AGnd terminal & VI from VFD to AOut on 107
Moved the Pump Wires to K1 relay and Everything works Perfect !!!!!

I Have gone from 38 IPM with the G540 to 100 IPM with the 302vs
Thanks Again for all the help
