Hey guys, I have asked this on the controller specific forum, but thought I'd try here too.

Basically, if I reset the DSP, the carriage goes home. I then send it to 320, and set my micrometer on 0. I then send it back to 1, and send it back to 320, and it has moved an extra ~5um. If I send it back to one, and back to 320 multiple times, it keeps adding 5um or so onto the travelled distance. However, when I send it back to 0,0, it goes back and touches the limit switch normally.

I have a youtube video uploading now, though does anyone know what this could be? Microstepping issues? Bad driver? Stepper somehow skipping a microstep or 2 in only 1 direction?

I tried flexing all my components and it only shifts the result by a few um, but bounces right back. This repeatedly adds 5um or so each time, so it doesn't really seem like a flexing issue (or skipped steps, as it only happens in 1 direction).

Regards,
Dan
