    Inconsistant Power Output

I am getting inconsistant cuts with our new 150W LC1512 G Weike laser. I had done some tests and came up with some settings for cutting 3/16ths acrylic. I am now using the exact settings a few hours later and I am unable to cut through the material. I have even upped the power settings by 20% and not even cutting through. When I lower the power setting I seem to be able to cut. Any ideas?

Dear, which sales have you bought this machine from? Drop an e-mail to her with detailed description or video which is better. Soon you will receive answer from our technician. I hope it was not the tube problem.

Heat, sounds like something is getting hot, as temperature increases laser efficiency drops.

Higher power doesn't always mean better cutting, lasers are all about use of power efficiently and not always the maximum power available. This is best demonstrated when cutting wood, too much power will produce excessive carbon, carbon sucks up laser radiation like a sponge (its why they line NBC suits with carbon)

    best wishes
