Unhappy Hardinge Cobra 65 - Fanuc 21-T - Wont boot up?

We have a hardinge cobra 65 lathe with a fanuc 21-t control that dosen't want to boot up. When the main power is turned on the drives light up (no errors) like they're ready to go. When power is turned on to the control, the lights on the cpu come on, but nothing on the screen. The first two green leds on the cpu are on, as well as the second red one (generic alarm according to manual). The manual also states that just the first two green lights on indicates that the cpu is not booting up due to the occurence of an error. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, or if there's a way to find out what the actual error is? Checked all fuses, the screen is good as it has just been retrofitted to an lcd and it powers on but "no sync" appears on the screen. I'm stumped.

    Fanuc Main board # A16B-3200-0200

    Thanks guys!

P.S. I'm not really a newbie here I'm at work and couldn't remember the password for my personal account, so I figured I'd create one for the company.
