Hi

A friend of mine got this DYNA DM2016, and has just moved it to a new location, and when he tries to start it up, all he gest is a black lcd screen..

ive been trying to do some fault tracing, checking all the cables and connections, the pc seems to be booting up..

any tips and tricks for testing the display

Open the front control and shine a flashlight to simulate the LCD backlight. If the only backlight is out, the display should work although difficult to read.

I know its a long time since i last asked about help on the DYNA DM2016, but because of some financial problems there has not been done any atempts to get machine working, but now there is better times :-)

its still the screen problems, we want to exchange the grapics card, does anyone have a clue about what to exchange it with????

We tried the flashligt test, but nothing shown on the lcd, there has been a tenichian of some sort who has been looking into it, and he says its the grapics card, ill be getting the card at my location within a few days, and ill try to locate a new card to swap with, one of our problems with the troubleshooting on this machine is that im located pretty far away from the machine, like 400 km.

is it possible to change out the whole pc and screen? if i could find a old working pc about the same age, and then maby just swap the harddrive and extension cards?? could that work??
