Burn Table Lead in lead out

    Everyone
I am trying to use Bobcad for my burn table.
Which it does fine for the outer shapes but not holes.
I would like to have the lead out to have a negitive
overlap. I attached a pic from our old software.
The green circle is the diameter of the torch flame.
    White is the path
    Red is rapid.

Also you can see the lead in is an arc.

Sorry I am noob If there is a better way thats ok also.

Your image did not show up...

Question, you want the cutting to go past the lead in point on the profile you are cutting.

So it would lead in at point A, cut around the shape, then lead out at point B which would be past point A, correct?

Sorry the action photos didn't work.
Thanks so much but the Overlap will only "add to the cut".
I want to "subtract from the cut" If I have a negative number
it goes to zero. I think I will have to draw a tab on my holes.

Ok you want to leave material left as a tab?

If you have the nesting software you can set a tab. Currently BobCAD does not offer a tab option for profile cutting, it's only available with nesting.

    Thanks

I tried nesting and I can't get it to change the start point.
With some shapes this fine but others it doesn't work
The software has you pick geomerty not a finished part with tool paths.
I tried the nesting a only few times so I may be doing something wrong.
I have never used it for production.

You have to use the contour option to "force" the start point for profiles used in nesting.

The contour menu is a grouping feature. It groups geometry together setting the start point and direction of the cut.

I have this same problem in v24. Some lead in points are in the part and some not and it seems at random even with same file used twice.I emailed tech and they sent me invitation to purchase the subscription. All updates downloaded

I tried my best with contour option to "force" the start point for profiles.
Which i got to work. But it only changes the start. I would like the holes
to have one type of lead in and the perimeter to have another.
I must me doing something wrong.

    Thanks for the help!!!!
