    Wohlenberg-hannover lathe

Hi all, i have a wohlenberg hannover lathe which i need some info on. I am wondering what it would be worth to get rid of. It has a 1280mm swing and 6000mm between centres. I am sure its a 1951 model. Any comments would be appreciated. Will hpoefully get photo's on here soon

.. If you can catch him sober...

this thing sounds like an oil field lathe...

My calculated big-ass guess, not knowing condition, might be in the $40,000-55,000US range.

How heavy is this monster, I think a bit more than 60 tons. Und how much kw would it have from your wallplug, maybe in the same direction as the tons?

I think it only has about a 3" spindle bore in it. It can also swing 900mm over the saddle. I have no idea of the kw rating as well but im guessing its about 30 or so. It also has two stage adjustable chuck jaws which can be handy. I cant imagine this thing weighing any more than about 10tons or so. What sort of company do you guys reckon i can try sell this thing to???
