    g code error with image to g-code

    testing a new router table with linuxcnc.running ver. 2.5 I wanted to carve a few jpeg pictures. Some of the jpg made gcode and some I got from our digital camera when I tried to make code I got a error message
    near line 2
    then it gave file location and name
    bad character \377 used

    Can some one explain what I have run into and the fix for it? thanks

    Can you post the first few lines of G-code? In the little bit of experience I have with it, LinuxCNC doesn't seem to support all of the G-codes that are out there. I am using an older version, but I suppose the same could apply to any of them.
