    Radius cut with Undercut Mill

Since this is my first post, I guess I should introduce myself. I am an experienced mechanical engineer, with a pretty good background in design and manual machine work, but I am new to sprutcam and CNC machining in general.

I've had pretty good luck picking up SC from the video tutorials by Eric at Sprutcam america, but I've run across something that doesn't seem to be covered in tutorials, or in the SC7 manual.

I've got a part that needs to have a radiused groove cut in the side. I'm sure I could lay this part on it's side and make the cut with a ball end mill, but I should be able to make this part in 2 setups, and laying the part on its side would require 3.

I was able to create this tool as an "Undercut Mill" in Sprutcam. Only a few of the operations can use this tool, and I can't figure out how to tell SC to cut that groove with this tool.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I usally fool the program with an endmill or whatever, as long as the code is accurate. drawing special tool is something i usally dont do.

Maybe thats wrong, but i get the work done anyway.
