    Z arc in EIA sub

the EIA sub runs fine on its own, with an arc in the XZ plane using G18

but when the sub is called from mazatrol, I get "incorrect arc data" error

this is a Nexus mill w/ matrix control, we have two of them... one runs fine with this sub, the other gives this error so there must be a related parameter

anybody have a clue what that is?

    Check Parameter F70

You might want to check parameter F70 and make it a 1. I looked back and saw I had answered a question for you on offsetting an EIA progam called from a Mazatrol. Maybe for some reason this parameter effects this also.

Ill snoop around in the parameter book tommorrow at work.

    Thanks bildoo,
That would be strange but it wouldn't surprise me.
I'll check tomorrow but I'm pretty sure both machines have F70 set to 1, ever since you helped me on that one

    Sorry I forgot.

I totally forgot to look for the parameter for you. I will look on Friday when I get back to work.

I flipped through the entire parameter manual and the only parameter that might cause this is F19. (deals with arc and radius error) Compare this between the two machines and let me know.
