Hi all,

We just got a new lathe with the 828D control. Can upload some pictures if anyone is interested.
It has a few dramas but won't get into it now.

What I Want to do is some thread re-machining but just cannot find the sync point button.
Did it once now can't remember!

Also does anyone know where to find a shopturn manual for this control? Can only find the 840D manual on the Siemens web site.

I have no experience with Lathes, but for your synchpoint, I would first try, if the control can use the M19 command, alternatively you can bring your spindle with Spos=xyz to a definite position, wheras xyz stands for a angle from 0-359.999°. If you have a non modulo axis as spindle than your angle can be bigger than 360°.
