    Exclamation 3D Studio Max

    Hi!

Can I work with 3DStudioMax 2012 for CNC projects? How can I do it?
I only know this software for 3D modeling...

    regards

We use Inventor Pro and 3DSMax for modeling, then export solids out to BobCAM for toolpathing. So, I'll say 'YES' it can be done.

Having said that, it's easy to model things which can't be cut, due to limitations with your machine. If you're doing simple 2D things, it's pretty straightforward. It can get complicated fairly quickly when you start modeling organic shapes in 3DSMax.
