Hi friends
I encountered a problem with my control and will appreciate all the help I can get.
The machine is Zayer machining center with Heidenhain TNC 415 control.
When turning on the machine, after a 45 days shutdown period, a message that the backup batteries should be replaced appeared. The message appeared in German and so are all messages from the control since than, though the language before was English.
The batteries where replaced but the machine power will not start-up. The user interface is functional and it is possible to brows between the different screens,
But there is no power to the motors. No error message appears.
Any suggestions how to approach this problem will be greatly appreciated.

You will need the saved data... What was originally the MP4010 and MP7230?
See the service description (SM_TNC425) "buffer battery" chapter.

Thank you for your swift reply.
MP 4010=0
MP 7230 was 0. I changed it to 1, as it appears in the parameters printout
and the display language changed back to English.
It looks like some (but not all) of the MP values had changed to "0".
I wonder which other data (PLC..Etc) had changed too...
I will have to check and restore all the MP values by hand, out of printed list
as the backup disk, made 17 years ago, is corrupted.
Any additional advice will be appreciated.

I also have the dreaded problem of missing parameters, the machine is a Zayer bed mill with TNC 407 control, have any of you guys got a copy of parametes that may get me started again.
I found some parameters on a page in the cabinet but they only go as far as MP1050 so thats as far as i got.
Any help greatly appreciated.
