Hi everybody,

i just installed the new official update for mastercam x6 - mu2.

I didnt saw any changes, just one more problem for me.

When im trying to open .stp (.step) files, mastercam stop work and crash.

Anyone have same problem as me? Or is this problem only on my side?

I tryed uninstall Mcam6 and deleted all of folders which left, and made a new "clean" install, but problem remains.

Sorry it seems to be a a few people but not everyone. I just opened a few today and have been opening up for a few months during testing and not one issue opening them.
Will post as we can find a similarity of why some are having this issue.

Strange for me but:

If im opening .stp file from our server, Mcam crashes (with MU1 never happend me before)

If i download it, to my harddrive in computer, it works...

so issue from a server what kindof net work 10-100, gigabit or fiber. I run a gigabit switches and the files I have been converting are coming from the servers over my network. still know issues and I have been using the MU2 for months now thru testing.
