Fuling Inverter spindle speeds and feed rates

    Hey guys,

I am about to sell my Chinese CNC which I have always ran at factory settings for cabinetry etc.(18000 rpm 3 mtrs per min feed)
I have a buyer who wants to know how to reduce the spindle speed, and/or feed rates for cutting and drilling plastic and metals.
I have the DSP and Fuling manuals but dont know where to look to change these parameters.
Vectric V carve Pro wont alter either, so I assume it has to be manually set, or a feature enabled?

I have Fuling DZB200 standard DSP HANDLE.
I am desperate to sell this machine due to re location, but I dont want to give the buyer a machine he cant use, so any help would be most welcome.

    Many thanks
    Alan.

    Hi Alan,

Sorry I didn't see your other post, but hope this helps.

Here is a link to the DSP Manual, just in case you may have a different manual than the one I am referring to. It's a PDF a few posts in:

    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/contro...p_pendant.html

On page 15 and 16 the manual covers how to enable F-Code read.

On your DSP select Menu, then Auto Pro Setup, then G Code Read Setup, then make sure that F Read is set to "Enable".

Now your machine should take Feed rates from your program software on the thumb drive.

Unfortunately you still have to manually set the spindle speed for each operation via the Fuling Inverter.

    Success!!!

    Thanks Matt,
I can now see a visible change in the feed rates of the CNC.
You have no idea how much this means!!

Now I can confidently program feed rates and not 'hope' there is no tear out on some of the trickier timbers I use.

I still have no luck with the spindle speed adjustment.
The spindle works though it's 7 stage acceleration, up to max speed of 18,000rpm and 300hz.
Luckily, most of the cutters I use require this speed, or faster, but I still would like to slow it down for some metal drilling etc..
I have pressed every button on the DSP , and twiddled every knob on the inverter, with no luck....any ideas?
