    Daewoo DHP-630: Tool-Mag Servo-Drive flashes 'ALP-En'

    Hello

The AC Servo driver is a Daewoo Pro-Motion model dasd ct15spxb 02.
It is mounted in the power cabinet on the right side wall.
This unit drives the servo motor for the tool mag (chain).

Currently its display shows ALP-En and the chain is not moving.
The ladder diagnose shows clearly that the driver returns an alarm.

Unfortunatly i dont have any books about that driver...and no info on the www

Can anybody help me encode the message on the Display ???

    Have a great day !

    Marco

ALP-En indicates low battery. Replace the battery in the drive. you may have to reset zero position after replacing the battery. The procedure prinout is usually included with the machine in the blue binder of the parameters list.

    Thank you lajosgy !

I figured that could be it.
I since replaced the battery. Its a AA sized 3.6V Li cell.
Still need to reset the chain when i get a chance tho, she's off by about an inch.

    Cheers

Hi! As mentioned alp-en is a battery down alarm which you seem to have cracked, for setting the chain position you need to know some little things really, does the machine have one chain or more? If its just one then complete the following, have the control off bit isolator on,

On the promotion/vision drive press mode repeatedly until you you see Rd-off on the screen. Once you have this scroll down to jog using the arrow keys and press set.

Once you have done this you can manually jog the chain using the arrow keys.

I usually allign the chain visually and then slide the tool pot in and out observing for deflection on the chain and adjusting until there is none. (The correct way is to use a split tool but these are often not readily available.)

Once you have done this press set on the drive and note what number pot is at the waiting position.

Now press mode repeatedly until the display reads 000000
Now press the arrow up key so the ready out is 080010 and press set (the last digits are irrelevant at this point as they represent the pocket number when last set)
adjust the number of the display so it has the tool pocket number that you ear
Over noted. So if it's at pocket 4 it should read 080004 and press set

Now press mode until you see rd-off or jog run again, once either of these are on screen press the arrow key up until you see 0r-95.

With 0r-95 on the display hold down the set key for around 5 seconds and you should notice the screen flash many numbers at once, isolate the machine and turn back on.

Then that's it! Repeat until spot on.

    Thanks Forbest

I figured it out when the office finally found the papers
Me too just eyeballed the corect position untill it went smoothly and set the new parameters.
    Works well since...

Your step by step description is great and now can be searched and seen by all others.

    Cheers !
