Pressing shaft out of electric motor rotor?

Any one ever press out the shaft from the rotor of a electric motor? I'm trying with a 20 ton press no luck. This is a 3 phase 3 hp motor the shaft is about 1.25" diameter were the rotor is. I already bent it a little so no stopping now. I hope I don't need a 100 ton to get it out....

    Press Shaft

You need to make sure you are pressing in the same direction the shaft was installed in or you will never get it to move.
As the original shaft is pressed in the iron plates roll in the direction the shaft is pushed in.
Very important to push the right direction
    My 2 Cents worth
