    Cut 2D Profile pass

Hi Guys, I have a 12.5mm (1/2") piece of rough sawn plate I wish to trim to size around the perimeter before continuing on with other operations on it. The cut is app 2mm wide by full depth. I would like the cutter to cut full depth with 2 passes of 1mm DOC (Side ways)

In Cut 2d if I set this to an out side profile cut, it brings the cutter down so it plunges first into the part and then moves around the perimiter. Is there any way to set some sort of lead in so it doesn't have to PLUNGE down through the entire thickness off the part. So to sumarise I want the cutter to cut from the side, not plunge cut first. (I have done a poor job of explaining that):drowning:

Hope you get what I mean. anf thanks in advance for the help.

    Regards, Warren.

is it a rectangle, just draw with lead in and bigger than your finished size by half cutter size and cut ON the line
